Description

Ginger is a 5 year old Australian Terrier recently released from a commercial breeding facility. She is a very smart little girl and is doing great on her house training. Ginger is very talented at breaking out of her crate and climbing baby gates, but loves to cuddle up with comfy blankets with her dog pals in her foster home. Ginger will do best with a resident dog to help her find her way, and with no children under the age of 8.

Comments from recent interview with Ginger -

"I’m sweet, sassy and definitely classy. As my foster mom says, “nine pounds of dog, nine tons of personality!”

"I like to entertain myself by escaping my harness, my crate, and I’ve never met a baby gate I couldn’t best!"

"Due to my Houdini-like qualities, I do need a privacy fenced yard with no holes!"

"Because of my dimunitive size, I would love a family with children over the age of 10 or so."

"I love to play but I am always up for a snuggle! If you are looking for a mighty persona in a tiny package, I’m your gal!"

Suggested adoption donation for Ginger is a minimum of $400 and goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our rescue dogs. Wag N Train Terrier Rescue adopts only to people living in states neighboring Nebraska and requires the adopter to travel to Omaha, NE to pick up their newly adopted dog. We do not transport or fly our rescue dogs. A securely fenced yard is necessary to adopt one of our terriers. Please note: invisible or underground fencing is not considered secure or appropriate containment for terriers.
